Exam Policy

The purpose of this policy is to define the requirements, procedures, and expectations for all certification exams issued by Lean Sigma Corporation. Enrollment in any LSC certification exam constitutes voluntary acceptance of the terms here.

Eligibility:
Candidates may pursue certification exams either through our course-based pathway or via exam-only registration where available. For all "non-Master" levels (CSSYB, CSSGB, CSSBB), there are no formal educational prerequisites beyond identity verification and exam registration. For Master Black Belt certification (when available), the prerequisite is Certified Sigma Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB).

Exam Enrollment:
Exam enrollment must be completed through the official Lean Sigma Corporation exam registration portal or by enrolling at pages specific to the certification level (see Certification Exams). Enrollment ensures correct exam assignment and secure access to the test platform.

Exam Format:
All certification exams are delivered online. The exam interface allows candidates to:

• View all questions
• Answer, skip, or flag items for review
• Track remaining time

Exam Duration and Attempts:
Time limits and question counts are fixed by certification level:

• CSSYB: 50 questions / 60 minutes
• CSSGB: 100 questions / 120 minutes
• CSSBB: 150 questions / 180 minutes

Candidates receive two standard attempts. If both attempts are unsuccessful, additional attempts may be purchased. There are no discounted retake options available at this time. Attempt limits and pricing are subject to change and published at the time of purchase.

Results and Scoring:
Exam results are released immediately upon submission and emailed to the address on file. The minimum passing score is 80% for all certification exams. Correct answer feedback is not provided to protect exam integrity.

Exam Retakes:
Candidates who do not pass their certification exam after two attempts may pay for another two attempts by repurchasing the course or exam. There are no discounted retake options at this time.

Accessibility and Accommodations:
Lean Sigma Corporation provides reasonable accommodations for documented disabilities. Candidates seeking accommodations must submit a request and documentation in advance of exam scheduling (admin[at]leansigmacorporation.com).

Certification Issuance:
Successful candidates receive:

• Professional "Certified Six Sigma" Designation (i.e., Certified Six Sigma Black Belt - CSSBB)
• A Custom Digital Certificate
• Listing in Lean Sigma Corporation's Official Certification Directory
• A Unique Certification Number

Certifications remain valid indefinitely without scheduled expiration.

Policy Changes:
LSC reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time. Updates become effective upon posting to the website.

Agreement:
By proceeding with exam registration or participation, candidates acknowledge that they have read, understand, and agree to comply with this Exam Policy.
