Meet the Master Black Belt

In my career, I have worked in many fields: Petroleum, Shipyard, Training, Higher Education, Medical, city government, legal, and consulting. In all of these areas, I have worked as a project manager.

My work has also taken me to Stavanger, Norway, Dead Horse Alaska (which is 200 miles above the Arctic Circle), Mendosa, Argentina, Monterrey, Mexico, Porta Rico, Vancouver, British Columbia, and all across The United States.

I believe that all my experience has helped me to be a better person/Instructor/mentor/coach and I work hard and continually study to ensure that my students get the highest quality classes possible. This combination has allowed me to be helpful in many ways to help people in their own careers. I have achieved a Master of Science degree, and the following certifications:

  • Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt (LSSMBB)
  • Scrum Certified Trainer (SCT)

My wife and I have just started our 46th year of marriage, we have 4 grown children with 8 wonderful grandkids and currently live in beautiful southeastern Mississippi.

PDUs

Completing our online training courses grants you Professional Development Units (PDUs) that institutions like the Project Management Institute (PMI) will accept. PDU ratings for each course are based on mean seat time for each certification level. The adjacent table shows the PDUs earned per course.

Monthly 1:1 Mentoring

A personal relationship with your MBB Coach and Mentor. Aubrey will be looking to help you with your Six Sigma project or your dynamic and demanding career situation. He can guide you on tool selection, data analysis interpretation, project selection, managing stakeholders etc.
Mentoring is a 1:1 relationship and will not have pre-defined parameters other than:

  • Mentor Meeting Frequency: Monthly
  • Mentor Program Duration: Certification + 2

The program duration aims to provide you with timely value and a certification you can be proud of and benefit from. Aubrey will mentor you through certification plus two additional mentoring calls (a minimum of four monthly 1:1 calls).
